Bringing your loved one home to you
Losing a loved one is one of life's most difficult experiences, and when that loss happens far from home, the practicalities can feel overwhelming. At Global Funeral Repatriation, we are here to guide you through every step — including helping you choose the right coffin, casket or urn for your loved one's final journey home.
We offer a range of options to suit all families, traditions and budgets. All prices include VAT, and our team is always on hand to talk through your choices with care and without pressure.
We offer a range of coffins suitable for repatriation, available to all families regardless of destination. All prices include VAT. The majority of available coffins are made from wood, typically oak or mahogany. However, we do have a selection of wicker coffins available for a more eco-friendly approach.
If you are interested in a more personalised coffin, we have a range of options available from different colours to our selection of affinity coffins that can be decorated or engraved with personal effects. We also have a range of children's coffins available in all styles.
Please be aware that any coffin selected (other than that included in the repatriation package prices) may incur additional flight costs, as the overall weight can affect airline charges. Our team will always make you aware of any such costs before you make your choice.
Our caring team would be happy to discuss coffin options with you at any time; please contact us.
For families who prefer an American-style casket, we offer a selection of high-quality caskets suitable for international repatriation. Caskets are a popular choice for repatriation to the United States, Canada, and many Middle Eastern and African countries. All our caskets are manufactured in North America by skilled craftsmen and include a variety of traditional or religious touches to provide a personal touch.
As with all our coffins, prices include VAT. Please be aware that casket selections may affect the overall shipment weight and therefore flight costs. Our team will guide you through your options and ensure full transparency on pricing before any decision is made.
If you would like to discuss casket options, please contact us at any time.
If your loved one has been cremated, returning their ashes home can be a meaningful and often simpler alternative to full-body repatriation. Ashes repatriation is one of our core services, and we handle every step of the process with the same care and professionalism we bring to all our work.
All of our available ashes urns are made from non-metallic materials and can be used for the purposes of ashes repatriation. For more information on what urns can be used for ashes repatriation, please view our guide to ashes repatriation.
We offer a range of ashes urns, scatter tubes and ashes caskets to suit different needs, traditions and budgets. Whether you are planning a burial, a scattering ceremony, or simply wish to bring your loved one's ashes home to rest with family, we can help you find the right vessel.
Ashes repatriation is available to most countries worldwide and is often a more cost-effective option for families. To find out more about the full ashes repatriation process, visit our ashes repatriation page, or contact us to speak with our team.
