We specialise in the repatriation of human remains from Bristol to any UK or global destination. This service can include the movement of human remains in the form of cremated remains. We only ever offer a personal service, whereby a member of our family will collect the ashes or remains from anywhere in Bristol and deliver them to anywhere within the UK or any overseas destination. Airport Transfers from Bristol

Global Funeral Repatriation offers a comprehensive international repatriation service from Repatriation Process to any destination worldwide. Our all-inclusive price is based on the paperwork, transportation of the coffin and a flight into any airport in the world. If you require the remains of your loved one to be repatriated from Bristol to overseas, we can arrange everything for you.

Paperwork

We have our own paperwork that is made available to you following a repatriation. We complete a ‘First Call & Quotation’ document, and a ‘Repatriation Report’ document.

First Call & Quotation

This document is used to outline all requirements that you have, it specifies all documents required of you, and us in order to repatriate; legally, effectively, and preparatory with a future funeral service in mind. This document also outlines the quotation as discussed with you, broken down for your advice.

Repatriation Report

This document specifies all of the details of the person who has passed away. It acts as a checklist for paperwork that we are required to collect on your behalf, logs and jewellery or property that we handle, and requires a signature from third parties to countersign the information on that document (e.g. a member of staff at a hospital where we collect someone who has passed away), justifying that the person has any jewellery or property at the time that we attended.

Then a third party at the location where we take the person who has passed away to, will sign to take custody of those items listed, out of our care).

Both documents are duplicated meaning that we can leave one copy with the person that we hand over to upon disembarkation. We can then email or post copies upon request.

We understand how distressing the passing of a loved one can be, especially if they have passed away in another country or a location that is not close to home. Our family strives to take out the stress of getting your loved one home quickly, efficiently and with the upmost respect and dignity.

If your loved one has passed away in Bristol and you require advice on getting them back home to any UK or overseas destination then contact us today on 0330 175 7517.

To enable us to professionally fulfil our role to the best of our ability, we require an amount of specific authority from the Applicant. I, the applicant, instruct Global Funeral Repatriation of 73 Scrooby Road, Harworth, DN11 8JN to conduct all necessary administrative and practical preparations to enable the efficient repatriation of the deceased (body or ashes). I understand that this may involve attending at the Consulate or Embassy on my behalf in order to obtain the relevant documentation (possibly including a death certificate) to allow for the Repatriation to go ahead. I, the applicant, consent to and instruct Global Funeral Repatriation of 73 Scrooby Road, Harworth, DN11 8JN to fully embalm the deceased as outlined in page one of this document, using a British Institute of Embalmers, Embalmer. I understand the process of embalming and why it is necessary. A certificate of Embalming will be produced by the Embalmer upon completion. Global Funeral Repatriation recommends that the Applicant does not leave the United Kingdom until all required paperwork is in place for the Repatriation to take place. This enables Global Funeral Repatriation to have the ability to contact (via telephone, email and in person), the applicant for any requirements that may arise prior to the departing flight. Some communication may be required at short notice and may carry urgent requests or information- it is therefore paramount that Global Funeral Repatriation are able to contact the applicant via telephone, email and in person with ease until the Repatriation flight departs. Unless otherwise stated or agreed, our Repatriation package includes a simple oak effect coffin (or with Repatriation of Ashes, an oak urn). Global Funeral Repatriation expects that the Applicant will make available all required documents of them at the earliest convenience and with efficiency to enable the Repatriation to take place with the outlined timescale. Our fee quoted includes up to 90 days of mortuary care from the date of which the deceased enters the care of Global Funeral Repatriation. Mortuary care from then is chargeable at £50 per full 7 days thereafter. Where a deceased is in our care for longer than 14 days, Global Funeral Repatriation reserves the right to charge any additional fees relating to changing flight fees. I, the applicant, have the legal right and capacity to authorise Global Funeral Repatriation to Repatriate the deceased as outlined in page one of this document, and fully agree to all details within the whole document.
